Aaron Fox never turned a wheel wrong all night and went undefeated en route to his second straight Scratch Main Event victory on Laidlaw’s Harley Davidson Night at Industry Racing.

Fox entered the main event as the only unbeaten rider which gave him first choice of starting position. He chose gate one. Broc Nicol had second choice and took gate two. Max Ruml picked gate four which left Dillon Ruml with gate three.

Fox was the fastest starter and he hugged the inside line through turns one and two. Nicol chased after the leader on the first lap but couldn’t find a way past. The 17 year old former Junior National Champion kept the heat on Fox throughout the race but didn’t make an impact. Fox completed his perfect night by winning the main event, Nicol settled for second, Dillon Ruml was third, and Max Ruml finished fourth.

Dillon Ruml started off the heats with a win over Braydan Galvin. Max Ruml beat Russell Green to win the second heat. Fox won the third heat and Gage Geist got second after Bob Hicks experienced a mechanical problem. Nicol ended round one with a win over “Battling” Buck Blair.

Former National Champion Charlie “The Edge” Venegas started round two by beating Shawn “Mad Dog” McConnell. Max Ruml defeated Dillon Ruml for his second straight win. Fox beat Blair to make it two wins in a row. Nicol scored his second consecutive win ahead of Hicks to end the second round.

Dillon Ruml began the final round by getting his second win ahead of Blair. McConnell beat Rocco Scopellite in the next event. Venegas scored his second straight win by beating Nicol. Aaron Fox won the battle of unbeaten riders against Max Ruml to close out the heats.

A runoff between Scopellite and Geist for the final position in the semis ended in turn two when Geist found too much traction and fell. The referee awarded the race to Scopellite.

Nicol won the second semi with Max Ruml getting second to join him in the main. Venegas was excluded from the second semi for touching the tapes. After the racers restaged it was Fox and Dillon Ruml finishing one-two and transferring to the main event.

McConnell slipped past Venegas on the first lap to take the lead and the win in the Scratch Consolation. Blair finished in third and Scopellite was fourth.

Hayley Perrault started in gate one and used it to her advantage to gain the lead in the Second Division Main Event. She never looked back from there and led the entire distance for the victory. Rudy Laurer finished second, Ron Davis was third, and Mike Lane finished fourth.

Chris Wiggins led all four laps and took home the victory in the Third Division Main Event. Steve “Beach Ball” Brown finished second, George Yates was third, and Greg Willis finished fourth.

Jake Isaac quickly went past James Blair to take the lead in the Junior 250 Main Event. Colton Hicks, down from Northern California, started on the 50 and was in second place challenging Isaac. Colton Hicks tried to go under Isaac as they entered turn three the fourth time but got in to the leader and brought both of them down. The referee determined that Colton Hicks was the cause of the red flag and awarded the race to Isaac. Sebastian Palmese was credited with second, Michael Wells was third, Blair was fourth, Sara Cords was fifth, and Hicks was credited with sixth.

Keelan Venegas led the Mini 150 Main Event until Slater Lightcap went by on the third lap and raced away with the victory. Luke Whitcomb finished in second, Dakota Shockley was third, Keelan Venegas finished fourth, Skylar Schnakenberg was fifth, and Andrew Russell finished sixth.

Cole Ayers put together four smooth laps and was victorious in the Pee Wee Main Event. Travis Horn was second, Levi Leutz finished third, Richards Stephens was fourth, Conner Salazar finished fifth, and Gavin Dryfka was sixth.
