As was announced last week, the New Hampshire event at Jolly Rogers Motorsports Park did go on as scheduled. As always the JRMSP staff was professional and accommodating to the speedway riders. This was a speedway only event so the 1/5 mile dirt oval was much improved from last year.

A - Main
1. Jerry Harman
2. Brian Hollenbeck
3.Alex Heath

B - Main
1. Michel Lemay
2. Katalin Davis
3. Dave Clark (dns)

With seven speedway riders, you can imagine there was lots of time for peewee races, bicycle races and track prep. Great spectator participation
which is usually not seen during flat track programs.

On a "good sportsmanship" note. Michel Lemay saw that Alex Heath was having bike problems in practice so he loaned Alex his back up bike. Alex ended up beating out Michel for the last spot in the A main by a single point.

Also notable, Katalin Davis gave Michel Lemay a run to the line for the B-main on Jerry Harman's "Smith Racing" Jawa. Katalin's 897 developed a miss
that couldn't be tracked down So Jerry offered her his bike if we could run the A-main first which we did. One thing for sure, Katalin is not afraid totwist the throttle.....
