I rode from 1991 on up to 2001, although I didn't ride too much the last four years or so. I was working a lot back then, something I can't acclaim to now days, I used to hang with John Grant and I traveled with Flyin' Mike for a long time as I kept my bike at his house. There are no wins to speak of other than numerous heat races, I was on the 30 yard line with Harlan Bast and not one main event win! I was robbed a couple of times, and had my engine quit on me for at least two main event wins on the last lap. Came to find out my pit man was riding my bike up and down the street and hauling it all over town to look cool while I was at work! I didn't find this out until his funeral when I overheard a girl saying how fast it was. I said to a guy there "I wonder who else was riding it" he replied with "now that he's dead, I rode it too" ha, ha, ha. I couldn't figure out why it was breaking down all the time! Anyway, I just thought I'd give you a laugh. Take care and thanks for the update. . . I'm not sure which picture you used but my cover shot is at Maely's with Alan Christian riding a Laydown for the first time. It was Mike's bike and I was just getting some seat time, for about three laps when Big Al and I were side by side, I just kept thinking to myself . . . "don't take him out!" lol, Take care...
